Projects
We’re open to all genres of music, but keep in mind, we do want some different arrangments. Not something that is the same music played on a different instrument. We’re also open to new ideas, so if you have another twist on this concept, let us hear about your ideas.
As projects are being arranged, we’ll be happy to let everyone know who you are and what you’re working on. If you want to plug your band, we can do that too.
Our first project, “It Is Well With My Soul” is clearly from the rock genre, but if you’re into something else, that’s OK too. And yes, that includes hip hop, blues, jazz, country, techno, R&B, etc….just about anything goes. As far as lyrics go…well, we know that radically different arrangements make it hard to use the original, but try to keep within the spirit of the subject matter and intent.
A Note About Video
Video adds a whole new dimension to music, so we ask that you provide your final content on video if possible. Note that nothing fancy is required, but if you’ve got the talent, a full-scale music video will definintely make it more appealing. Oh, and by the way, YouTube and GodTube are fine for reaching the masses, but if you want better quality, create an account on Blip.tv. Its free, and their final quality is much better than the rest. Blip allows for embedding and linking too.
